Glass lids retain heat in cookware, shorten cooking time, save energy, and serve as a splash guard. The glass lid allows you to observe the cooking process. A fitting lid does not slip, as it sits snugly in the pot or pan and seals tightly. Chefs particularly appreciate it when they want to cook ingredients with little water, as it retains steam in the pot or pan. It is made of heat-resistant quality glass with a frame of Cromargan stainless steel 18/10.
