The universal lid fits pots, pans, and sauté pans with a diameter of 16 cm from the Casa, Cool, Gala Plus, Profi Plus, Provence Plus, and Vignola series. Glass lids retain heat in the cookware, reduce cooking time, save energy, and also serve as a splash guard. The glass lid allows you to observe the cooking process. A fitting lid does not slip, as it sits precisely in the pot or pan with its downward-facing edge and seals tightly. Chefs particularly appreciate it when they want to cook ingredients with little water, as it retains steam in the pot or pan. The heat-resistant glass cooking lid features a frame made of Cromargan stainless steel 18/10. A round knob or handle is used for lifting, requiring no pot holders, as the knob remains pleasantly tempered even during cooking. All fitting lids from Silit are dishwasher safe.
