To cook pasta simply al dente, WMF has developed pots with an integrated strainer. This is convenient because when the pasta is ready, you can easily lift out the strainer insert without using pot holders, as the handles are hollow and do not heat up. Tilt the pot to drain the pasta water, leaving a small amount behind. Then, place the strainer back into the pot with the pasta and cover it with the lid; this keeps the pasta warm until serving. The WMF models are made of Cromargan and feature a TransTherm universal base. They are available in diameters of 18 and 24 centimeters.
