The carafe features a lid with a Close Up closure that can be removed. By tilting the carafe, the closure opens and closes automatically. The closure has a 1 mm play with the lid and the plastic ball, allowing for smooth and jerk-free pouring. The opening of the water carafe is large enough to accommodate ice cubes or various fruits, such as lemon or lime slices. An integrated sieve in the lid ensures that any additions used in the carafe remain inside while pouring. After use, the closure can be completely disassembled and cleaned in the dishwasher along with the carafe. Due to its size, the carafe is suitable for the refrigerator.
