The Grand Gourmet Damasteel® collection impresses with blades made from a unique material: Damasteel®. Similar to Damascus steel, the production of Damasteel® involves high-quality steels of varying hardness. These are pulverized and bonded under vacuum with extreme pressure. The material sinters into a steel with approximately 120 layers of unparalleled homogeneity, which is then traditionally hand-forged in the WMF blade forge in Germany. Combined with a high-quality Cromargan handle and the final acid etching to reveal the individual layers, this results in perfectly balanced knives for maximum precision and safety when cutting, whose appearance alone is captivating.

Unique Damasteel® - Damasteel® is an incomparable blade steel of the highest purity, produced using a powder metallurgy process. Like Damascus steel, high-quality steels of different hardnesses are used.
