The WMF Ambient cooling and warming plate impresses with its dual function of keeping food both warm and cold. Specially developed for the cooling function, these 2 flexible and unbreakable cooling plate elements are simply placed next to each other between the heating and glass plates and integrate seamlessly into the design of the basic appliance. The close proximity to the food helps to keep it at the ideal serving temperature for up to 2 hours. Fruit, cakes, cheese or sushi remain as appetising and delicious as when freshly prepared. Incidentally, the cooling plate elements reach their optimum cooling capacity after just 4 hours of cooling in the freezer compartment at -18°C
