It is one of the finest polished knives from Windmühle and is perfect for working by hand. The Windmühlenmesser Peeling Knife Bird's Beak cuts, peels, and cores fruits and vegetables very gently and economically. The curved blade, reminiscent of a bird's beak, is made of non-stainless carbon steel and is hand-finished (special fine grinding) and manufactured according to the Solingen thin grinding principle. The extended, well-balanced handle of the Windmühlenmesser Peeling Knife fits comfortably in the hand; it is made of subtly grained beech wood and is riveted with two aluminum rivets. Blade length: approximately 71 mm, total length: approximately 175 mm. Recommendation for a long lifespan of the Windmühlenmesser: use a soft cutting board, preferably wooden boards, do not clean in the dishwasher, and occasionally oil the handle with wood care oil.
