Born from the rural tradition of Germany, this knife has been manufactured for over 140 years in accordance with the principle of "Solingen thin grinding," with its unique blade shape remaining unchanged. The curved blade, also known as the old German table knife, showcases its distinctive character through its special functions, namely cutting and spreading.

It is wide for good cutting control, sharp enough that you won't need another knife even for hard sausages, and with its rounded tip, it allows for spreading a precious commodity like butter sparingly and thinly. Its smooth thin grind slices bread and especially rolls without leaving unwanted crumbs in the middle. It does not require a serrated edge. The blade is made of stainless steel.

Like all classic windmill knives, it features a beautiful wooden handle that feels pleasant in the hand. A sharp all-rounder for the kitchen and the table.
