The Viking Spark™ is unlike any other everyday necklace, thanks to the combination of centuries-old tools for sharpening and igniting. The hand-ground, genuine Arkansas Novaculite whetstone allows for sharpening both large and small tools. The ceramic scraper is discreetly located on the back of the pendant. Use the ceramic scraper to quickly transition to a massive shower of sparks. With the Viking Spark™, you look good and stay sharp.

While it appears to be a traditional pendant, it can be used to sharpen knives or tools when needed. It is a great all-purpose field stone for maintaining knife blades, with a medium grit (600-800 relative grain size). Each stone is carefully selected, hand-cut, ground, and drilled. Each pendant is hand-tied with a unique knot that we call the "Napoleon Claw," inspired by Viking-era/Celtic knots.

Our specially designed, removable clasp not only allows you to replace a worn ferro rod but also lets you cut the leather to any desired length and reattach it, ensuring your necklace fits perfectly.

Four different types of grinds:
Rounded Edge: Spoon/hook knives, hollow chisels, seatbelt cutters, nail clippers, concave blades, large serrations.
Beveled Edge: Saws, deburring, small serrations.
Hook Groove: Hooks, needles, awls, spear tips, drills.
Flat Grind: General purpose for fixed or folding blades with a smooth edge.
