Coverlock 820D3 with a set of regular, elastic threads and needles. The Coverlock 820D3 (also known as a capstan or rending machine) is primarily a machine for sewing with stretch materials such as children's knitwear and sportswear. It is mainly used for curling (without hemming) and joining them.

The coverlock ladder stitch is designed to be both very flexible and strong. From the outside, the classic ladder stitch looks similar to parallel lockstitching with a double needle, while on the left side, you can see the special loops that give it its unique properties. The most popular applications include the bottoms of blouses, undershirts, and sleeve folds.
