The successful tableware concept Trend White from the Thomas Trend Factory was exclusively expanded by Rosenthal in 2020 with its internal design team to include three colors: Trend Colour Moon Grey, Night Blue, and Ice Blue. The colors can be mixed individually, allowing for plenty of variety on the table. The characteristic fine ribbed texture has also been incorporated into the colored pieces, just like in the white version.

All items in the Trend Colour porcelain series are made from natural raw materials. The glazing process, where all pieces are fired with the colored glaze, gives the collection its personal and distinctive style. To create new outstanding shades and effects, Rosenthal has developed this extraordinary colored glaze. The diverse shading effects on the finished product depend on how heavily the glaze is applied, causing the white porcelain body to appear either more or less pronounced. The line relief also appears either lighter or darker, creating a particularly beautiful effect. The contrast effects give Trend Colour a modern handmade look, making each piece unique, which is the intended design.
