As the name suggests, the visual timer makes the passage of time visible. Once the desired duration in minutes is set using the dial – from one minute to a maximum of 120 minutes – the remaining time is displayed as a red indicator strip. You can clearly see how much time is left on the countdown display. When the time is up, a beep sounds for 3 to 60 seconds, depending on your preference. The volume can also be adjusted in two levels.

Thanks to its battery operation, the timer works very quietly, without any mechanical ticking. Its compact shape ensures a stable stand. It is also excellent for use in schools, for homework, or to limit time spent on the computer, gaming console, smartphone, or television. The colored display allows even small children to easily see at a glance when the time is up, and they can easily adjust it as well.
