Tera Mortar with pestle

The mortar and pestle CY0250 from Tera is a robust kitchen utensil made from elegant black-gray marble, distinguished by its practical dimensions – an outer diameter of 11.8 cm combined with an inner diameter of 8.8 cm and a height of 6 cm. The inside of the mortar is textured, which enhances friction during grinding and crushing tasks, allowing for efficient use. The perfectly fitting pestle measures 12.7 cm in length with a width of 3.2 cm at the bottom. Both pieces feature a polished exterior that provides a smooth surface, making it easy to hold with one hand. An anti-scratch pad can be attached to the bottom of the mortar to protect kitchen surfaces from scratches. Care is to be taken exclusively by hand washing with warm water and a sponge. The mortar is ideal for grinding both dry and wet ingredients and can be used for a variety of purposes – from creating aromatic pesto and salsa to crushing herbs and spices.
