Maya 2000 was introduced in line with the new times of the turn of the century. It culminated in Tias Eckhoff revising his already outstanding design pattern once again, almost 40 years after he created one of the most significant contributions to Scandinavian design. Maya 2000 has the same appearance as its classic sister cutlery, Maya, but the differences become apparent when looking at the details: Maya 2000 is longer and slimmer than its sister, making the triangular base shape on which both series are based appear much more streamlined, thus fitting in with the most modern table settings.
