Es dauert eine gefühlte Ewigkeit bis der MX 1 Smoothies oder Shakes cremig hin bekommt, wobei man immer mit Fetzen und Bröckchen leben muss. Ebenso gehört das Crushen von Eis nicht zu seinen Stärken, jedoch lässt sich der Standmixer einfach reinigen.
