The palm leaf is blown off by the wind or falls down and takes a piece of bast with it. This piece of bast is used to create this beautiful tableware. Palm has a lovely natural look, is durable, and very environmentally friendly. Versatile material. Additionally, palm disposable items are versatile as they can be used from -20 °C to 200 °C and are suitable for microwave use. Biodegradable. Biodegradable products are made from materials that are completely broken down by naturally occurring microorganisms and converted into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass. Unlike compostable products, these do not need to decompose within a specific timeframe. The production mainly involves cellulose and fiber products based on sugarcane and palm leaves, as well as products based on starch plants. By definition, it does not matter whether renewable or non-renewable, i.e., fossil resources are used for production. Under real environmental conditions, biodegradable plastics break down over time into microplastics, which only decompose very slowly into their chemical components. Oxo-degradable plastics have also been enriched with additives that break down into microplastic particles when exposed to heat or sunlight, but these are hardly decomposed.
