The indestructible cast iron wok from Schulte Ufer is a true all-rounder in your kitchen. The tried-and-tested cast iron material is perfect for searing as well as gentle simmering. This wok is ideal for preparing all Asian dishes to perfection and is also great for cooking soups and stews, braising, or even deep-frying.

The wok is made of black, enamelled cast iron, which conducts and stores heat particularly well. Due to the material and shape, the wok has different heat zones, allowing you to fry, cook, or keep warm. The shatterproof glass lid features a heat-resistant lid knob made of 18/10 stainless steel. Each wok also comes with a stainless steel grid for keeping food warm.

The special inner enamelling of the wok forms an additional patina when used correctly, acting as both a flavour carrier and a natural non-stick coating. This ensures that only a small amount of fat is required when frying.

The wok can be used on all types of hob, including induction, and is suitable for use in the oven, provided it is large enough. The glass lid is ovenproof up to a temperature of 180 °C.

Schulte Ufer was voted the most popular brand for pots and pans for the fourth time in a row in a customer survey conducted by the German Institute for Service Quality GmbH & Co KG (DISQ) in October 2020, receiving an overall score of "very good.".
