Silica Gel Desiccant. An essential component for any equipment that is susceptible to moisture. The irregularly shaped particles absorb moisture without changing shape or appearing wet. The material is inert to most chemicals and therefore has no corrosive properties. Due to its extremely hygroscopic nature, contact with large amounts of water should be avoided. Recommended uses: Packaging, electrical/electronic enclosures, communications equipment, near metal structures, cable connections and hygroscopic powders. Each box contains 50 sachets of gel, each packed in a permeable membrane. Conforms to BS2540 and CPU/CON/250-1.
