Junto - Stoneware
The production of the Junto stoneware collection follows an extremely elaborate manufacturing process. All items are made from natural raw materials, and particularly the firing process combined with the special glazes gives the series its own distinctive style.
Junto stoneware is fired with so-called reactive glazes, which provide the products with their exceptional color shades. Depending on the applied glaze thickness, firing temperature, and atmospheric firing conditions, various effects such as speckled structures and a satin matte, dark sheen at the edges are created on the ceramic surface.
This special process results in the characteristic, intentionally handcrafted look of all Junto pieces, featuring unique color gradients that in no way indicate a flaw in the product.
