Römertopf Bread and cake baking tin

The Römertopf bread and cake baking dish is elongated and suitable for baking a loaf of up to 500 g. The bread is optimally supplied with moisture by soaking it under a steam dome. This keeps the bread juicy, aromatic, and fresh for a long time. Cleaning is easy by hand or in the dishwasher.

Note:
The Römertopf is made of clay and is temperature resistant at convection up to 180 °C and at top and bottom heat up to 220 °C. For optimal use, the Römertopf should be soaked for about 10 minutes before each use to fill the clay pores. It should never be placed on the stovetop or gas flame and is glazed on the inside for easy cleaning.
