Stiftung Warentest regularly tests what the robots can do on hard floors or carpets, how thoroughly they mop and what they are good at in practice. There are many good models, but the price differences are large: Between 160 and 1400 euros.

The special feature of the Roborock device is its suction station. It charges the robot, empties the dust container, fills the water tank and also cleans the mop. This way, up to 300 square metres can be mopped in one go.

1,400 euros is a lot of money. But for that you get the luxury of far-reaching automation with the package of S7 MaxV and the "Empty Wash Fill Dock". The dock autonomously juggles fresh water and dirt, takes care of a clean wipe and empties the collection container - less than 5 minutes a month are needed to keep the floors in the flat or even the house fundamentally clean...
