Product details
The shape of the classic bread plate has been transformed by Kuhn Rikon's ceramic artisans from Rheinfelden into a versatile bowl. This now offers more uses and thus more joy in everyday kitchen life. The hand-painted bowls are perfect for serving soups, salads, fruits, meats, pasta, or rice, vegetables, cookies, or even bread. They are definitely eye-catching, as each design captivates with charm.
Alois Carigiet (August 30, 1902, Trun, Graubünden; August 1, 1985, Trun) was known for his work as a Swiss painter, draftsman, lithographer, and children's book author. Three of his most famous picture book works are "Schellenursli," "Der grosse Schnee," and "Flurina und das Wildvögelein." In particular, the book "Schellenursli," written by Selina Chönz, led to national fame. The Engadin connection to nature and landscape is ever-present in Alois Carigiet's drawings. The unique Carigiet paintings are reflected in the Rheinfelden ceramic products. All products stand out as special one-of-a-kind pieces crafted with love - just looking at this product line brings much joy.
