Yes the stopwatch can be muted on the right side.
No, apart from the colour, they are the same devices, which are super comfortable to use.

You cannot switch off the timer (except by removing the battery). You can only reset the counter to 0 and stop the timer with "Reset". But the display always shows 00.00. With "Start/Stop" you stop the timer and the display shows the last value.
Hello, For our timer Kat. Nr. 38.2038 there is no mode for silent notifications. Alternatively we can recommend our timer Kat. Nr. 38.2019, which offers such function. With best regards TFA Customer Service

It can count up and down. Unfortunately, you cannot add anything to the time without resetting the time first. Example: If I want to add one at three minutes, I have to reset first and then set four minutes.
