You should not stir or work with metal utensils in the pan, as the non-stick coating is scratch-resistant and durable, but metal utensils can damage the coating. The pan has a Titanium Excellence non-stick coating, which is resistant, but to maintain its durability, more gentle tools such as wooden or silicone utensils are recommended.

Helpful answer
The lids of the set are made of glass and silicone and are dishwasher-safe, but there is no explicit indication that they are ovenproof. According to the manufacturer, only the pans and pots themselves are ovenproof, but not the handles and lids.

Yes, the set is also suitable for use on a normal non-induction hob. It is compatible with all hob types, including gas, electric and glass ceramic.

Your question is somewhat suggestive. Tefal claims that its coating is made of PTFE and does not contain PFOA. I cannot judge whether this is true. The food inspectors are responsible for this. In my opinion, these are the best coated pans for cooking that I have ever owned. Don't heat the pans too high and wash them out with a little washing-up liquid after each use. I use wooden or plastic ladles when cooking. If you want to be on the safe side, you need to buy pans that are only made of iron. However, these are only ready for use after a complex baking process and then have similar properties to the coated pans. We probably already have quite high levels of PFAS in the food itself, so ultimately the producers are responsible for the quality of our food.
