Optionally, an anti-limescale cartridge can be used with the humidifier - this is recommended above all for water with a very high limescale content in order to avoid white precipitation. How often the cartridge needs to be changed is determined by the water hardness. The device does not produce steam, but the water is beaten into a mist by an ultrasonic membrane. No, it does not heat up. This device simulates a flame. LEDs illuminate the steam that escapes from it. :)
