I have this robot and I think the app makes it possible. The only thing you need is WLAN to set it up. You can set up a fixed schedule and it works regardless of where the smartphone with the app is located. If the robot gets stuck, it can also be sent to the station by pressing a button on the device. Please note, however, that the robot is relatively maintenance-intensive. It has to be emptied and hair removed from the brush practically every time it cleans. I am therefore considering buying a slightly more expensive model with a tank and possibly self-cleaning.
Yes, as a rule about 1.5 to 2 cm should be possible, it always depends on whether the bumper touches the baseboard at the front or whether it still protrudes above it. However, I would not recommend buying an exotic robot hoover. My suggestion would be a product from Roborock, Dreame or Xiaomi or Roidmi, they may also sound exotic now, but the companies work together in many ways and the devices are top, in suction power, spare parts availability and in the quality of the cards created. The Xiaomi Dreame D9 Max would be a much better product and it is much cheaper to get.

For less than 300 Swiss francs, you could even get a Roidmi Eve Plus with suction station, so you can use the hoover for several weeks and don't have to deal with emptying the dust container in the robot hoover. A clean thing, in my opinion :).
