It copes very well with dog hair. Except for difficult corners, the hair has disappeared. The iOS app gives and works great. The app is super user-friendly.

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra can both vacuum and mop, but not at the same time. The device has a function that allows the cleaning brushes and mopping unit to be raised depending on the mode to prevent carpets from getting wet or the brushes from spreading water or dirt. The mopping and suction functions are therefore carried out separately.

Roborock, the manufacturer of the S8 Pro Ultra, is headquartered in Beijing, China, and has R&D and manufacturing operations there, suggesting that the product is likely made in China.

Yes, you can set the amount of water that Roborock S8 Pro Ultra should use to mop the floor. The cleaning station and app allow you to adjust the amount of water to suit different floor types and needs. This helps to avoid water damage on sensitive floors such as parquet.

No, this will only be supported by the new S8 MaxV Ultra. However, the app can be configured so easily according to your needs that I don't see any added value in integrating it into Homekit at the moment.

Mine is in the reduit in a corner. A Dyson hangs just above the robot and the door also opens towards the base. When it leaves the base, it has to pass the open door immediately. Surprisingly, this works smoothly every time. As long as the door gap is larger than the robot, it can find its way out and back again.

Yes, of course. It says so in the description. Parquet = wooden floors. Works perfectly. The amount of water can be easily dosed (3 levels). The parquet floors are quickly completely dry again as no water is used. However, some suitable cleaning agent is an advantage to remove the dirt a little better.

Regarding question 1: My curtains are 1 cm too long and he makes an arc around them. He recognises it as an obstacle. Our bathroom is quite uneven because of the granite, but this one he does left, even over the edge into the shower. Doesn't get stuck in the toilet. Recognises carpets / bath mats itself and only vacuums here (no mopping).
