I have detergent in it (also in all other Roborocks). Works wonderfully, just foams a bit sometimes. PS: take a look at the Q Revo Peo/Max - similar price to the S7, but can do more.

Good day The question has already been asked, but it is not clear to me: Where can I get suitable disposable dust bags? I can't find suitable ones for the S7 Max Ultra anywhere, only for the S7 MaxV Ultra, even on the Roborock website. Are they identical, or can they be used for both systems? I also couldn't find out whether the station differs at all between the two models, as each report only mentions the robot itself. Thank you in advance and best regards

I can help ;) The difference between the maxV ultra and the max ultra is primarily that the maxV uses a camera for orientation (the "V" in maxV stands for vision). The max ultra, on the other hand, "only" uses LiDAR, but is in no way inferior as a result. In addition, the maxV ultra does NOT have a drying dock built in, whereas the max ultra does. In other words, as long as you don't have a lot of small items lying on the floor while the robot is vacuuming, you won't notice any difference between the two and, considering that the max ultra is a good deal cheaper, I think you get the better deal with the max ultra anyway. I ordered the disposable bags from amazon: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0BVFZWQC1 The small difference in quality compared to the original bags is negligible and definitely not worth the extra cost. You can also find handy accessory kits that include bags, new rollers, air filters, rotary brushes and mops. Happy cleaning ;)

I bought the S7 without the station a long time ago and would now like to retrofit the station. Is it really only possible to buy the small Smart RockDock separately, or can the Max Ultra station also be bought separately?

An internet connection is not mandatory to operate the Roborock S7 Max Ultra, but it does offer additional functions and benefits. With an internet connection, you can control the device via the Roborock app, e.g. schedule cleaning cycles, set up no-go zones and view the map of your home. Without an internet connection, however, the device can still be started and operated manually.

As has already been said, a must. But they last forever, he really squeezes it in. We still have the first one in use....now 6 weeks. With dog (Labrador) and approx. 65 square metres daily and a good 110 square metres every 2 days

Hello, I don't think so, because as far as I know the S7 has a removable water tank. The S7 Max Ultra has an integrated water tank and a port to fill it at the docking station. The charging ports may also be different, but I would have to research that to be sure. However, I would say that the S7 is not compatible with the docking station.

I have a carpet in the living room that is the whole width and has long shag. Other robotic vacuum cleaners have always got caught in it. Is it possible to programme the robot so that it doesn't vacuum the shag, but just runs over it? Or another workaround so that it doesn't get caught but can still get over the carpet?
