Hello - it comes with 4 slices, 2 each for grating and cutting. Incredibly great appliance, in daily use with me for 2 years. Whether large or small quantities, this appliance chops, stirs, mixes, grates plus squeezes lemons and oranges without any problems.

I didn't know that wasn't possible. I always clean mine in the dishwasher at 60° and have never had a problem with it. Depending on what you are processing, you may have to wash the middle bowl, but it doesn't get really dirty. The bottom bowl only gets dirty in the rarest of cases (e.g. when processing liquids).
