The disposable capsules (5 litres) from ISI are cream chargers filled with 100% pure N2O (nitrous oxide) and not CO2. They are specially designed for cream dispensers and are not suitable for beer kegs. For beer kegs, ISI uses separate CO2 capsules that are filled with pure carbon dioxide and are specially designed for beer dispensing systems with 16 g capsules.
The ISI filling capsules for cream whippers (0.50 l) are specifically designed for cream whippers with a capacity of 0.50 litres. They are not compatible with the ISI Creative Whip Premium 0.25 l ES, as this requires a different size and possibly a different seal.
It is advisable to use the appropriate size refill capsules for the ISI Creative Whip Premium 0.25 l ES to ensure proper function and safety.
We use them for the 0.25 litre isi creative premium whip. There is only one type of capsule, for the 0.5 and 0.25 litre machines. Both have the same amount of gas, with the 0.25 the rest is simply "lost" in the cream.
Cold Brew Coffee is made with 1l of water and 80g of Arabica coffee. This Nitro capsule cannot be used with cream. For frothy products, other capsules are needed. The Cold Brew Coffee remains liquid at the bottom, with a frothy top. It does not bring any flavour.
To the best of my knowledge, it is not possible to replace/rebuild the NO2 cartridge valve at Kisag. The best option is probably to buy the respective ISI spray head as a spare part. This then requires the capsule holder and the spray head for the Gourmet Whip. Typical spare part price: 60 to 90 CHF. It is therefore probably cheaper to buy a new iSi Gourmet Whip. The ET number to the best of my knowledge: 2296 for the capsule holder and 2287 for the spray head.
No. The size is different. You need to buy nitro.
But don’t expect much. The nitro coffee you get from kisag is not even close to the one from coffe house
