The device can also be operated with all functions without an app. It has a clear display and simple operation directly on the appliance, making app control optional. All important functions such as humidity setting, operating modes and timer can also be used without an app. The app merely offers additional convenience for remote control.
If you don't have any particular respiratory sensitivities and the device is properly certified, it should be safe to use the ioniser. I always have it running.
If you don't have a Hepa filter, you *may* get pollen/dust into the appliance now and won't be able to get it out later. Look for the Hepa filter abroad, it is usually available immediately.
The dehumidifier regulates the humidity through condensation, but does not actively clean the air as an air purifier. It has an air filter that retains coarse particles, but is not a 2-in-1 appliance with an air purification function or ioniser. It is therefore a pure dehumidifier without integrated air purification.
The dehumidifier has an integrated 2-in-1 HEPA activated carbon filter system, UV light and ionisation, which allows it to purify the air as well as dehumidify it. It is therefore a combined appliance that offers dehumidification and air purification (2-in-1).
Hello,
I am responding as a user of this product for about three months.
Yes, it is possible to use it without the HEPA filter. Personally, as it is supplied as standard, I have installed it.
The appliance can be used without it.
However, I don't know if ecofort offers a pre-filter other than the HEPA filter.
Best regards.
I have the ecoQ DryAir 20L Energy Saver Complete. I leave it in automatic mode all the time.
When it reaches 54% it goes into full stand-by mode, as if it was switched off.
Then it briefly starts up after some time, to check the conditions. If the humidity is higher it stays on until the target is reached again.
Occasionally it goes a bit lower than 54, I assume that is because the natural conditions are below the target.
I am very satisfied with it.
Mine doesn't blow straight upwards, but at an angle to the top right when you look at the appliance from the front. However, the direction cannot be adjusted. For this reason, I like to hang the laundry on a pole at door height in the direction of the airflow to dry it faster. I'm not sure how well this works with a low clothes rack because the appliance is already a certain height.
In a very small room of approx. 6 m², the dehumidifier can blow out some warm air, as it operates with a power consumption of up to 170 W. This can slightly increase the room temperature, but not by a multiple, as the appliance is designed for rooms up to 30 m² and the heat development is moderate. The air outlet is optimised to distribute the air evenly, which means noticeable but not excessive heating. The appliance is also ultra-quiet and suitable for use in living spaces such as bedrooms.
According to research, the 20L Energy Saver Complete also has the tumble dryer function. Thank you for letting us know. We have forwarded this for checking.
Due to different suppliers and delivery conditions, there may be price differences compared to other suppliers, especially in international comparison. We always try to offer prices in line with the market, but this is not possible for all products.
The pre-filter only needs to be vacuumed or washed with warm water and a mild detergent; it is not a HEPA filter that needs to be replaced.
Yes, the appliance is designed for rooms up to approx. 30 m² and is therefore suitable for this room size.
Yes, it continues exactly where it left off, with the same settings.
But why would you want to disconnect it from the mains? It has a timer, an automatic function and LAN access. If it is in the same network, you can operate it with an app.
In automatic mode, it starts the fan, measures whether it is humid, if so it starts the compressor, if not it switches it off again.
It couldn't be better. Just don't forget to empty the container or insert a hose.
Hello Anita
The premium dehumidifier from ecofort is here. The ecoQ DryAir 20L Energy Saver Complete is the further development of the popular ecoQ DryAir 20L Energy Saver. It is just as economical and quiet, but with more functions, such as the app control, a larger display, an optimised air outlet with automatic swivel function, as well as 5-fold air purification with dust filter, hepa and activated carbon combi filter, UV-C light and the ioniser.
Greetings Walter
Hello,
This may be due to a number of factors. The item was offered at a lower price earlier this month.
As prices can fluctuate on a daily basis, we recommend that you add the product to a wish list to be automatically notified in the event of a possible drop.
Yes, the ecoQ DryAir 20L Energy Saver Complete has a connection for a hose for the continuous drainage of condensation water. However, the hose is not included in the scope of delivery and must be purchased separately.
Yes, the "ecoQ DryAir 12L" appliance is very suitable for drying laundry. It speeds up the drying of hung laundry, especially when used in the laundry room. By dehumidifying the air, the drying process of the laundry is considerably shortened.
It's a defect; I had exactly the same thing about 2 months ago. Register it under warranty and send it in / bring it over; but it will potentially take about 1 month until you get the device back...
The power consumption of the dehumidifier is very low and it is considered particularly energy-efficient, which makes it a sustainable and cost-effective companion. It consumes around 33% less power than its predecessor model, making it suitable for continuous operation.
Compared to an energy efficiency class A tumbler, the dehumidifier can keep up well with its low power consumption, as it is specially designed for low energy consumption with high dehumidification performance. In addition, he saves around CHF 131 per year in electricity costs.
In summary: The dehumidifier offers a high dehumidification performance with low power consumption at the same time and is therefore energy-efficient enough to be comparable to a Class A tumble dryer.
The appliance is a pure dehumidifier and not a 2-in-1 appliance with air purification function.
The ecoQ DryAir 20L Energy Saver specifically removes moisture from the air, but does not have integrated air purification with filters or an ioniser. The "ecoQ DryAir 20L Energy Saver Complete" version, on the other hand, also offers five-stage air purification with HEPA filter, activated carbon, UV-C light and ioniser, making it a 2-in-1 appliance (dehumidifier + air purifier). The standard version without "Complete" does not have these air purification functions.
Yes, there is a connection to connect a drain hose. The ecoQ DryAir 25L Energy Saver Complete allows the condensation water to be drained directly using a water hose, which is not included in the scope of delivery. You can order the appropriate hose from a specialist dealer or online by searching for a hose that matches the connection dimensions of the appliance. The exact dimensions of the hose are not specified, so you should contact the manufacturer or a specialist dealer to ensure that the hose is compatible.
