I bought the V15 about a week ago. You can easily remove the battery and, for example, plug in a spare battery (if you have one) and continue to use the hoover while the other battery can be charged.

Hello. I don't know. But v15 was just released in 2021. (May 2021 in the USA, Switzerland only around autumn 2021 as far as I remember...).

All I can say is that the V15 is great at removing hair and the brush has never needed cleaning (after a few months). Recommended.
