Yes, I was able to integrate this weather station into Home Assistant without any problems using the "Ecowitt" integration.
There are enough poles in specialised shops, otherwise a gate post, a fence post of the appropriate length, or simply a water pipe from the DIY store.

I have had my station for nine months now. So far, it has not been necessary to change the batteries. Presumably the batteries last quite a long time, as they are only intended as a bridging device. As far as I know, the main power supply comes from the solar cells. For this reason, I was surprised that it had to be batteries and not rechargeable batteries. We'll see when the time comes, as there is an indicator on the base station.
Hello Yes, it works. An ingenious device. The only pity is that it doesn't display a weather forecast. But I would buy it again. Kind regards
