It's a bit like "how long does cooking take?" - depending on which programme you use, it takes longer or less time. The "cotton universal programme" at 60°C indicates over 3 hours at the beginning. However, since the duration is constantly recalculated (due to soiling and load), the value goes down quickly for me. Therefore, I would say, with approx. 3/4 load (=6kg) and moderate soiling, including dry spin, approx. 2 hours.
Btw: Machine is really top. Probably has plastic here and there where others are more solidly made, but it lasts and will probably continue to do so for a long time if you treat it "properly". Not that I need a second one, but I would buy it again :)
Well, somehow the washing machine has to get water, so yes, it needs a water connection (usually a cold water tap) close to the machine, as the hose that comes with the machine and connects to the machine and tap has a limited range.
