Pure Water Pot Multilayer filter element

This multi-layer filter cartridge serves as the second stage in the Pure Water Pot water filter and dispenser system. It makes the water slightly alkaline, which is beneficial for health.

The first filter layer consists of high-quality silver-impregnated activated carbon, the second layer is made of quartz sand, the third layer is zeolite (a silicate mineral with a very large internal surface area due to micropores), the fourth layer is also made of activated carbon granules, and the fifth layer consists of ceramic balls.

This combination of filter media removes or at least reduces dissolved substances (e.g., agrochemicals, heavy metals, pharmaceutical residues, remnants of chlorine treatment, atypical taste) from the water. Additionally, the pH level of the water is slightly shifted into the neutral to alkaline range. The individual chambers are separated by fine screens, preventing any contamination of the underlying layer. The water flows through the various filter layers at its own pace, just as it does in nature through different soil layers.

Service life: 4 months or a filtration capacity of 2000 liters, depending on which condition is met first. Installation: The filter cartridge is screwed into the cartridge holder with the threaded piece and sits between the upper and lower containers. Storage time: 3 years if unused and stored in the original packaging in a cool, frost-free, and dry place. Maintenance: The multi-layer filter element requires no maintenance. Unlike the white ceramic filter element, it cannot be cleaned.

This multi-layer filter cartridge must be disposed of after its expiration and replaced with a new multi-layer filter cartridge.
