While the 4, 5 and 8 mm sizes can be attached using a hammer, the Vario pliers or the tribrach, the 11 mm and 14 mm inner diameter eyelets can only be attached using the enclosed tool and a hammer. The eyelets should be attached so tightly that they no longer turn - this prevents the eyelet from coming loose when the fabric is tightened.
