When the fabric strips are cut at a 45° angle to the grain of the fabric, the bias tape becomes elastic and can be easily processed even in curves. The fabric is inserted into the opening of the bias tape maker and pulled through after the fabric strips have been cut. On the flat side of the bias tape, the perfectly folded bias strip can be pulled out and then directly pressed. This way, the bias tape works flawlessly and can be simply rolled up for next time.
