The practical bias tape makers from Prym allow for perfect shaping of bias strips of any length for finishing the edges of any fabric or even patchwork quilts. By cutting the fabric strips at a 45-degree angle to the grain of the fabric, the bias tape becomes elastic and can be perfectly processed even in curves. Once the fabric strips are cut and connected, the fabric is inserted into the wide opening of the bias tape maker and pulled through. On the flat side of this handy tool, the flawlessly folded bias strip can be pulled out and directly smoothed with an iron.
