Obwohl der kleine Saugroboter laut Hersteller nur für glatte Böden geeignet ist, kann er auch auf kurzhaarigen Teppichen eingesetzt werden. Die Saugleistung darauf ist allerdings eher bescheiden, sodass das Einsatzgebiet also doch auf harten Untergründe zu sehen ist. Große Verschmutzungen schafft der Philips nicht und so bleiben ihm eher geringe Partikel als Aufgabe überlassen.

Der Philips ist ein echter Profi wenn es darum geht Tierhaare oder ähnliches vom Hartboden zu entfernen, wobei er hier schnell und zuverlässig arbeitet. Auf langhaarigen Teppichen macht er aber eine eher schlechte Figur, sodass man hier mit einem normalen Sauger nacharbeiten muss.
