The Scientific BAT206SX from Oregon is a wireless weather station with frost alarm and color display, allowing you to access extensive weather data. It shows the time, indoor and outdoor temperatures, humidity, and a weather forecast at a glance. The display is easy to read even in the dark, thanks to its backlight. When operating on mains power, the brightness can be adjusted in two levels, completely turned off, and reactivated with a button press, so the bright light does not disturb in the dark. The highly precise radio clock automatically switches to summer or winter time. The combination of the color display and elegant housing makes the weather station a special eye-catcher. The weather station also provides a weather forecast for the next 12 hours, with symbols for sunny, cloudy, partly cloudy, rain, and snow. If the measured outdoor temperature approaches freezing point, the frost alarm is activated, and the display starts to blink. The device offers daily storage of maximum and minimum values, indoor and outdoor temperatures, as well as measured humidity. Additionally, a practical alarm and calendar function is integrated. The wireless transmission range for the measurements is 30 meters.
