Nouvel Casting pan with wooden saucer

Cast iron pan with wooden trivet. Suitable for rösti. Made of cast iron in brown/black. Compatible cooking surfaces: electric, gas, glass ceramic, halogen. Wooden plate made of untreated pine: 23 x 2 x 2 cm.

Cleaning and care of cast iron: Do not remove the patina that forms on the bottom of the pan on the black enamel. This improves cooking results and the release of food residues. Allow the hot product to cool slightly before washing. Rinse the product, if possible, in hot water and then wipe the surface with a damp cloth. This is recommended after normal frying when only minimal food residues are left. For more thorough cleaning, you can use hot soapy water, then rinse the cookware with clear water and dry it well. This will preserve the patina. A dish brush can be helpful for removing food residues and cleaning between the grill ribs. Do not use pot scrubber pads or other abrasive cleaners on the frying surface. Frying marks on the outside of the pan can be cleaned with a nylon sponge.
