Simon Legald's Junto series is inspired by traditional Spanish ceramics. The design is both rigorous and soft, featuring a hearty, handmade feel from its rustic, fired terracotta. The Junto collection includes a carafe, cups, oil and vinegar bottles, salt and pepper shakers, and a wide selection of bowls and dishes. With 14 pieces, Junto is well equipped for many enjoyable dinners. Mini versions of the series' characteristic carafe bring oil and vinegar to the table, while the salt and pepper shakers provide that final touch of seasoning, all in the same organic form that runs through the series. Along with large serving bowls for salads and small dishes for tapas, snacks, and desserts, the opportunities offered by this versatile set are manifold. All pieces share a delicate interplay between surfaces that are both matte and glazed, grooved and smooth. Use Junto as a single set or mix and match it with your existing porcelain.
