An added safety feature: Best protection in every situation. The activation lock securely protects you from unauthorized or accidental switching on. If a cooking zone is heated at a constant power level for an unusually long time or if there is no pot on the activated cooktop, it will automatically turn off. Another attentive helper is the residual heat indicator: it reminds you not to touch the still hot cooking zone.
