Wash + Filz'it is the classic felt wool from the Schachenmayr brand. This wool owes its popularity in knitting felting to its composition: Wash + Filz'it is made from 100% virgin wool. You can knit with the yarn and then felt your work in the washing machine (at 40°C). Of course, you can also crochet with Wash + Filz'it instead of knitting. The result is a beautiful felted look that is not only attractive but also extremely durable and temperature-regulating. There are many decoration ideas and knitting felting instructions available, especially for slippers, bags, egg warmers, gloves, and many other projects. The shrinkage of the wool when felting in the washing machine is approximately 30 to 40%. We recommend a knitting and washing test.
