• The Tilano series dinnerware is made of stoneware with reactive glaze. The completely handcrafted glaze makes each piece a unique item that adorns any table.
• The manufacturing process involves applying various glazes and metal oxides: After an initial low-temperature firing, the ceramicists apply metal oxides to the still porous material, depending on the desired end result. A second glaze of a different color is then applied, which enhances the color of the metal oxides. The final color and texture of the effect glaze depend on the firing temperature and duration, as well as the thickness of the individual glazes and their application method.
