The Onda series is made of stoneware with reactive glaze. The glaze, which is applied entirely by hand, makes each piece unique and adorns every table.
In this process, different glazes and metal oxides are applied: after an initial firing at low temperature, the ceramists apply metal oxides to the still porous material, depending on the desired final result. Then another glaze with a different colour is applied, which makes the colour of the metal oxides stand out. The final colour and texture of the effect glaze depends on the firing temperature and duration as well as the thickness of the individual glazes and their application method.
