The GOGAIN series is made of stoneware with a craquelé glaze.
a glazing technique developed in Asia in the 16th century. The tableware is made entirely by hand in China. To achieve the craquelé effect, the ceramics are immersed in water immediately after firing. The considerable temperature shock leads to cracks and a kind of metallic look to the colours.
The colour, crack pattern and final shape of a piece of tableware depend on the temperature, firing time, glaze thickness and application method.

The glaze, which is applied entirely by hand, makes each piece unique and adorns every table.

Our tableware is delivered in special packaging that allows for shatter-proof shipping.
