• The Calia series dinnerware is made from stoneware with reactive glaze. The fully handcrafted glaze makes each piece a unique item that enhances any table.
• The manufacturing process involves applying various glazes and metal oxides: after an initial low-temperature firing, the ceramists apply metal oxides to the still porous material, depending on the desired final result. A second glaze of a different color is then applied, which brings out the color of the metal oxides. The final color and texture of the effect glaze depend on the firing temperature and duration, as well as the thickness of the individual glazes and their application method.
