Note
The Boldi series is made from stoneware with a reactive glaze. The fully hand-applied glaze makes each piece a unique item that enhances any table setting.

In this process, various glazes and metal oxides are applied: After an initial firing at low temperature, the ceramists apply metal oxides to the still porous material depending on the desired final result. Then, another glaze of a different color is applied, which highlights the color of the metal oxides. The final color and texture of the effect glaze depend on the firing temperature and duration, as well as the thickness of the individual glazes and their application method.
