It fits neatly into all Kuhn Rikon pans with a base diameter of Ø 18 cm or 20 cm and will cook your food gently, preserving all the nutrients and saving you electricity or gas. The insert can be removed from the pan safely and easily via its practical grip handles. For added convenience, these remain cool even when the pan is very hot.

For normal soiling, use washing-up liquid For coarse soiling, limescale deposits or discolouration, use chrome steel cleaner, e.g. SWISS CLEANER Use SWISS CLEANER Abrasive cleaning agents and dishwashers can damage the surface of the steamer attachment Dishwasher-safe, washing by hand recommended If cleaned regularly in the dishwasher, plastic fittings may lose their shine and aluminium may oxidise or corrode. Never remove residues with sharp objects such as knives, steel wool or copper cloths (scratch marks) Limescale stains can be removed with vinegar or lemon juice.
